KU’s Revolt!

How come the vast horde of authors stampede into the “pre-order” corral? Those of us who pay a monthly fee for KU are left standing out in the ((what was that new ebook I wanted to check out?)) camp.

I get an email from an author I follow or am interested in. BAM Please pre-order my upcoming book. I go to landing page and WHAM. I see the price to pre-order and a little image of the KU option. So by the time the book comes out I’ve forgotten about it until months or years go by.

Bring Back the Bands!

I wonder if anyone beside myself has gotten tired of the talking heads @halftime of College Football games? I would love to see the ‘Bands’ again. They have not gone away, they still show up for Saturday afternoons. What say you?

Ladle Rat Rotten Hut

This is an extremely charming tale about a girl who never gets to go out beyond her own yard. Then its Christmas just after her 16th birthday, and to celebrate she gets to go into the woods to see ‘Granma’. It is so clever the way this tale unfolds, it saves the best parts for the ending. She meets Hansel & Gretel while at Granma’s house, what could be better? Read it and find out.Ladle Rat Rotten Hut ( A Grimm Diaries Prequel #4 )

Oral tradition, how strong?

Writing about a native American myth. What keeps a story alive for seven hundred years? My first tale did not encounter written language until the 1930’s. Below the Tohono O’Odham maze.
